The database of addresses of Helsinki maintains information about the addresses and place names of properties and plan units located in the area of Helsinki. The street names and other names are in both Finnish and Swedish. The addresses are based on the address decisions of the City Survey Services, and the place names are based on the plan nomenclature, for which the Land Use and City Structure unit is responsible.
The database also contains address information of public services, sights and rail traffic stations. The address book consists of the addresses of the units in question and the coordinates of the locations. The addresses are maintained on a database basis and constantly updated based on address decisions and city planning.
The data is available for download in several formats, including JSON, KML, CSV, Esri Shape, and XML. Available formats can always be found under OutputFormat in the GetCapabilities query for the service.
