From the dataset abstract

The City of Kauniainen’s purchases of services, materials, supplies and goods, rents paid, other expenses and acquisitions of fixed assets since 2014. The data has been extracted from the electronic processing system for purchase invoices at the invoice line level, and the data has been supplemented with the names of the organisation’s division, sector and unit. Individual invoice line levels are usually presented without value added tax. The dataset does not include purchases from private individuals or grants paid to private individuals.

The data has been placed in categories to facilitate the use of the dataset. The classifications can be used to view purchases in the data, for example, by division, supplier or account level. By filtering the data, you can compare the realisation of purchases based on different data. All opened purchase invoice information has been supplemented with information about the invoice date.

The dataset is updated annually after the financial statements have been prepared.
