Parking areas for heavy vehicles (SHP file)

From the dataset abstract

The dataset includes the parking areas for heavy vehicles in Vantaa. The total number of parking spaces for heavy vehicles is approximately 300. As a rule, parking areas for heavy traffic are located in public parking areas or street areas.

In addition to parking areas, the data shows the streets on which the parking of heavy vehicles is expressly allowed or prohibited. Other vehicles can normally be parked on streets where only the parking of heavy vehicles is expressly prohibited. On the other hand, some street parking spaces are intended specifically for heavy vehicles, and the parking of cars and vans in these areas is prohibited with an additional sign.

Parking in areas intended for heavy traffic is generally permitted for lorries and buses or, in addition to the these, for passenger cars. On a case-by-case basis, there are also parking places for vans, trailers for heavy vehicles and motorhomes. In a few cases, the types of vehicle are not limited.
