Helsinki Channel’s (helsinkikanava.fi) videos and metadata are available through an open programming interface.
The Helsinki Channel provides webcasts and publishes recordings of meetings of the Helsinki City Council, concerts of the Helsinki City Orchestra and the Mayor’s resident evenings, among other things. The channel also publishes the city residents’ own “Kaupunkilaisten videot” videos. You can follow the events on the Helsinki Channel website both live and as recordings. Hundreds of videos about the city and its activities have been published in the service.
In addition to the metadata of all video recordings published on the Helsinki channel, the data available includes information on the decision documents of City Council meetings, speeches made and votes cast.
