From now on, a high-value dataset category can be selected for all High-value datasets (HVDs) on Open Data.

We are going to separate APIs from datasets at the end of October. Going forward, APIs will have their own subpage and metadata model, which makes describing and finding them easier.

The dataset categories opendata.fi uses have been updated and almost all open data datasets have been categorised. Please check the categories of your datasets.

Regional coverage tells the user how large of an area each publisher’s data covers. Please check that your organisation’s regional coverage has been defined correctly.

Opendata.fi has already been improved significantly this year, but there is still more to come! During the autumn, we will implement even more improvements to usability as well as some new features.

We listened to your feedback and made our service more user-friendly. During the spring and summer, we have improved the infrastructure and performance of opendata.fi.
